Poor Baby!

Topi had a little operation the other day. Safe to say, he's not too happy! :( Perhaps it's time for a nice belly/ears/head rub?

Employee.

I GOT THE JOB! Such an unexpected surprise in my life right now, feels great! I'm now working at Rebel Sports which just happens to be like 3-5 minutes drive away AND after discussing with their manager/administration my times, It's safe to say nothing will clash with my university schedule next term. Now I can also save up a bit of money before Israel. (Haha, who knew I could get so excited about a casual position? But hey, jobs in my nearest shopping mall have been seriously hard to come by in case you haven't read my previous entries).

I went on a baking spree yesterday with mixed results. My honey roasted chick peas were so ridiculously annoying to keep an eye on - one minute they were fine, the next slightly burnt etc... I ended up with a big batch in a container to savour as small snacks. I'll probably be the only one who eats them too...

My sister is having a (month) late birthday dinner this Saturday evening, so I made a batch of those delicious Pecan and Maple biscuits for everyone to enjoy (and that I oh so love). Trying not to eat them all fresh out of the oven was the hardest part.

I have a feeling now I'm just rambling to prolong the workout I had in mind this morning. Exams really screwed up my 'oomph' for exercise - so time to shake things up and get back into a good rhythm!

Psst: Summer campaigns are already emerging all around the globe for 12-2013 and I for one can't wait to see what CUE will have in store. (Especially judging by this image) Will post up a pic of what I recently bought from this fave brand soon! xx

Time Flies.

Oh my! I couldn't believe it when I logged back in to blogspot and realised I hadn't written a post in almost over 2 weeks. I swear I just posted my last ramble only a few days ago... crazy! But I'm happy to report I am ALMOST free of all assessment for semester one! Technically I have finished everything, but considering I chose to be the producer for my last drama production, I now have to compile a folio of all our paperwork, evaluations... blah di blah. Not so fun, however it's vital for everyone's marks so it must be done. It helps when you don't have any other exams to worry about and you can procrastinate on 8tracks for as looong as you like...(who knew Ryan Gosling had such a nice voice? Then again... he is pretty amazing...or more than amazing...agreed? http://8tracks.com/jbear_4/actors-that-can-actually-sing)

(Haha... I can't help but laugh at this still shot from the production. My appreciation for actors has risen a few notches since having to work with them professionally!)

It's also under a month til I leave to Israel for my volunteering mission. SO EXCITED! I cannot thank Google enough for the advice I have received over my numerous searches in preparation for this next destination of choice. I'll definitely be posting my daily whereabouts/photos, so keep an eye out from July 3rd onwards!

I was pleasantly surprised to also receive a job 'interview' call this afternoon from a retailer close to home, and even when I mentioned I was leaving overseas, they still were happy for me to come in for an interview. So fingers crossed I FINALLY find myself a workplace! It's been far too long and I can't even count the amount of resumes I've handed out so far.

I'm glad to be back in action with this blog! If time permits, I'd love to tweak it a little more to my style. I've forgotten a lot of what I used to know about html codes, but I'm sure Google will once again be my knight in shining armour. x
